In Rosario, Argentina, a major incident occurred after a 15-month-old baby was killed in a barbershop. Kevin Portillo, accused of the crime, told the court he never saw the baby in the barbershop. He also confessed to shooting a .38 caliber revolver, which resulted in the death of Gian Mastrocola. Portillo was arrested two hours after the homicide at his home on Bacle Street 6300 following an exhaustive police investigation. During a search, a .11 caliber pistol, a bag with 306 grams of uncut cocaine, and a shattered cellphone were seized from him. He was charged with illegal possession of a war weapon and drugs for commercial purposes. Meanwhile, another detainee, Alan Vallejos, pleaded innocent and said he was willing to face the consequences. According to the prosecution, Vallejos participated in the events that led to the baby's death. Portillo, for his part, insisted he would never have done such a thing because he has young nephews.
